Public Notice: Pala Band of Missions Indians Declares a Public Health Emergency

PALA, CA – Wednesday, March 27, 2020. The Executive Committee of the Pala Band of Mission Indians approved a resolution declaring a tribal public health emergency due to COVID-19.

The emergency declaration is part of the tribe’s overall response to the COVID-19 pandemic and outlines several steps Pala will be taking to seek emergency assistance from state and federal agencies, implement public health and safety measures, and provide information, updates, and assistance to the Pala community and Pala tribal citizens.

The tribal state of emergency will remain in place until the Pala Executive Committee acts to end it.
