Pala, CA – The Pala Band of Missions Indians has issued a Pala Emergency Alert (PEA) that a High Heat Warning: Excessive Heat Watch is issued by the National Weather Service for Sunday, June 13, 2021, to Thursday, June 17, 2021.

“…EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING…
WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions with high temperatures of 90 to 100 degrees possible.
WHERE…San Diego County Valleys, the Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills, and Orange County Inland Areas.
WHEN…From Tuesday morning through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS…Extreme heat will significantly increase the potential for heat-related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.”
